A market leader in their field, this medical devices business with excellent staff retention levels is looking for a Compliance Officer to join their growing business on a permanent, full time basis. This is a hybrid position (3 days in the office per week).

Working for an internationally renowned business, you will be responsible for ensuring all of the business's compliance activities are adhered to.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implementing and overseeing local compliance requirements as well as collaborating in the development of the global compliance management system
  • Performing risk assessments as necessary according to local requirements
  • Creating global compliance documents and participate in the compliance training of staff
  • Assessing and identifying potential compliance weaknesses within the company and developing proposals that deal with those compliance risks

Requirements

  • Educated to degree level in law, finance or a related field
  • Strong experience in a compliance role particularly within the healthcare or medical devices industry
  • Good knowledge of legal procedures in the UK
  • Excellent understanding of quality management systems such as ISO 13485 and ISO 27001
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
