There's also a January start option available.

About the Role:

As ICT Teacher, you'll have the chance to shape the future of technology education and prepare the students for success in an increasingly digital world.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and deliver engaging computer studies curriculum that covers a range of topics, including programming, digital literacy, and computer science concepts.
  2. Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel empowered to explore, experiment, and innovate with technology.
  3. Utilise a variety of teaching methods and resources, including interactive software, coding platforms, and hands-on projects, to enhance student learning and engagement.
  4. Collaborate with colleagues to integrate computer studies concepts into cross-curricular initiatives and real-world applications.
  5. Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support individualised learning goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scratch.
  • Experience working with educational technology and digital learning tools.
