Teacher of Computer Science - Stroud based secondary school

Are you passionate about teaching computer science to young learners? Do you have the skills and experience to inspire them to pursue a career in the digital world? If so, you might be the perfect candidate for the job of Teacher of Computer Science at a Stroud based secondary school .
The secondary school is looking for a qualified and enthusiastic Teacher of Computer Science to join their team for the new academic year. You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons that cover the curriculum and prepare students for their exams. You will also be expected to contribute to the development of the department and participate in extracurricular activities.
To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
  • A relevant degree in computer science or a related field
  • Experience of teaching computer science up to A level
  • A strong knowledge of programming languages, such as Python, Java etc.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students
  • An Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one
