We are seeking a Computing Lecturer with a focus on IT security to teach BTEC Level 3. This role is ideal for someone passionate about educating and inspiring students in the field of computing, particularly in IT security.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Deliver engaging and informative lectures on IT security as part of the BTEC Level 3 curriculum.
  • Prepare lesson plans and educational materials that meet curriculum guidelines and educational standards.
  • Assess and evaluate students' progress in IT security topics through assignments, tests, and examinations.
  • Provide guidance and support to students, fostering a positive learning environment.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in IT security to ensure the delivery of current and relevant content.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a lecturer or teacher in computing, with a strong focus on IT security.
  • Familiarity with the BTEC Level 3 curriculum and requirements.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to engage and inspire students.
  • Relevant academic qualifications in Computing or a related field
