Configuration Analyst - Insurance

  • £35,000 - 38,000 + bonus and benefits

Key Responsibilities

  • Creating, deploying and managing the process for new product specifications
  • Updating and managing the process for changes to product specifications for implemented pricing products
  • Configuration of pricing products including the drafting of documents, development of user interfaces, workflow tools and broker portals
  • Working with stakeholders to elicit, document, configure and test requirements
  • Managing and maintaining the quality of data at each stage in the underwriting and reporting process

Skills and Experience

  • Experience of configuring pricing products previously and/or experience of writing, testing and developing within in a programming language such as XML, C++, Python and R or similar would be equally useful.
  • Ability to work with business stakeholders to translate and prioritise business requirements into technical solutions is highly desirable
  • An understanding of technology in product development is highly desirable
  • An understanding of full project lifecycle in a structured environment would be an advantage
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong writing skills to produce comprehensive and accurate documentation
  • Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft technologies
  • The role would be suitable for someone with a technical degree or background in computing or a STEM subject (Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics).
