Leading US firm situated in a stunning office location in central London is hiring a new Conflicts Analyst to be part of the growing team, responsible for providing legal, risk an regulatory advice for London.

Up to £60,000

Hybrid working (3 days in the office / 2 days remote)

Key Responsibilities for the Conflicts Analyst:

  • Conducting conflict checks for attorneys on new matters, pitches, and corporate affiliate research requests, utilising a variety of reference materials and information resources.
  • Applying appropriate techniques for the review, analysis, and interpretation of complex search results as part of the conflict analysis and reporting process.
  • Communicating in a prompt and succinct manner with the attorney or requestor to ascertain/gather additional information when required.
  • Performing self-evaluative quality control checks of conflict of interest reports prior to distribution.
  • Assisting Conflicts and Compliance teams in evaluating relationships between entities and individuals and incorporate those relationships into the conflicts database.
  • Demonstrate a complete understanding of firm policy and department procedures regarding conflict checking and new business intake, including engagement letters, and outside counsel guidelines.
  • Responsible for all securities trading process requests in accordance with the firm’s securities trading guidelines/policies.  

Key Requirements for the Conflicts Analyst:

  • Relevant experience within a compliance, legal conflicts management or risk team preferably at a major law firm.
  • Experience of working with various levels of personnel to deliver agreed outcomes –
  • Working knowledge of conflicts platforms
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
