The HSE Network have partnered with a complex organisation in retail and transport who are seeking a Construction Health and Safety Advisor on a permanent basis.
The ideal candidate will provide advice and support to the business with regards to Construction Health and Safety which will include numerous construction projects, control of contractors for planned and corrective maintenance and carrying out audits on the site.
The Main Responsibilities:
- Having full control of all contractors on site and stakeholder engagement.
- Liaising with CDM holders to support on any Construction projects where needed.
- Carrying out Construction site audits and ensuring contractors are adhering to the agreements made
- Compliance with BAL Health Safety and Fire procedures
- Managing Safety Schemes within the portal
- Support and contribute in quarterly contractor meetings
- NEBOSH General Certificate
- Experience in a Mechanical, Electrical, Building Fabrication and General Construction
- Essential the candidate has experience of contractor management
- Experience in carrying out audits
- Great Knowledge of Construction Regulations
- Temporary Works Awareness
- Asbestos Awareness
- Strong IT Skills
