We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Board-Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA)- Maternity Cover to join our school.
The BCBA will be responsible for supporting the ABA supervisors and class leads in conducting assessments, developing skill acquisition programs, developing individualisedbehaviour reduction plans and providing behavioural skills training and support to staff and families. The goal is to improve the communication, play, leisure, social, independence and academic outcomes for our pupils at Snowflake School.?

Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30 to 4.00 pm + Mandatory Training until 5.00 pm one day per week

Position Title: Consultant Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA)?- Maternity Cover
Reports To: Assistant Head for Behaviour?and Training
Location: Primary site in Earls Court and Secondary site in Acton Town as advised by Assistant Head for behaviour and training.?

Salary Range 40-44K depending on experience?
Main tasks and responsibilities:
Mentor and be first point of contact for a team of 2 ABA Supervisors and 3 ABA Class leads, providing appropriate guidance and supervision.
Play an active role in the termly assessment of Supervisor/Class Lead competencies.
Meet regularly with the Assistant Head for Behaviour and Training.
Participate in Annual Reviews as required.
Support supervisors and ABA Class Leads to develop and implement Behaviour Reduction Plans (BRPs) tailored to the individual needs of pupils.
Monitor and modify BRPs based on ongoing data collection and analysis.
Provide one-on-one or small group ABA sessions as needed.
Train and support ABA Supervisors. ABA Class Leads, Teachers, SaLT, OT, and other school staff in the implementation of skill acquisition programs, and BRPs, and any other topics as required.
Provide ongoing supervision (BACB, UKSBA etc.), coaching and professional development on effective teaching procedures and behaviour management.
In conjunction with the Assistant Head for behaviour, collect, analyse, and interpret data to track progress and make data-driven decisions.?
Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to provide input on goals and individualised teaching procedures as required.
Requirements:
Master's degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis, Psychology, or a related field.
Current Board Certification as a Behaviour Analyst (BCBA/UKBACert).?
Minimum of 5 years of experience working with children with special needs, preferably in a school setting.
Strong experience in the application of behaviour analytic principles and evidence-based practices.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Proficiency in data collection and analysis software/tools
Experience in a special education school environment
Familiarity with autism and related behavioural challenges
Training in crisis intervention and de-escelation techniques.
