An exciting opportunity has opened up for a Consultant to join a top-tier independent consulting firm specialising in banking and insurance. Your Role

Reporting to the consultancy Directors, working in a team of highly intelligent and experienced consultants, you will play a key role in the end-to-end implementation of technical, regulatory and risk projects for some of the most prestigious banks and insurers in London. In this client facing role, you will work closely with key internal and external stakeholders, to:

  • Solve complex challenges in banking and insurance
  • Conduct business analysis and document requirements
  • Analyse large datasets and build BI dashboards/reports
  • Engage with senior stakeholders and deliver key insights
  • Work on large system implementations using SQL, SAS, Python, etc.

Your Profile
To be successful in this role you will be degree qualified, sharp, curious and analytically minded. You will have:

  • Proven experience as a Business or Data Analyst within Banking or Insurance either in-house or through a management consultancy
  • Proven experience in risk management, including credit risk, market risk, and/or liquidity risk
  • Strong technical skills, including experience with tools such as SQL, SAS, Python and Business Intelligence applications
  • Familiarity with BCBS 239 data management practices
  • Confident communicator with stakeholder management experience
  • Degree required (postgraduate preferred)
