Our client based in Manchester are currently recruiting for Consultant Quantity Surveyor to join their team as soon as possible.

This is a full time, hybrid, permanent role offering £40,000 per year.

The purpose of the role is to provide a Quantity Surveying / Employer's Agent services across a range of projects delivered by Identity Consult and be responsible for all aspects of service delivery from inception to completion.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as lead Consultant under supervision of a Senior Consultant or above, in the delivery of projects both pre and post-contract across a number of sectors relevant to the individual;
  • Undertake all aspects of financial management of projects;
  • Preparation of appointments and contracts for commissions;
  • Ensuring that client objectives are met and that projects are delivered to time and cost targets and the appropriate quality standards;
  • Preparation of interim valuations, contract instructions and final accounts;
  • Contract and dispute advice;
  • Employer's Agent / Contract Administrator services including issuing of appropriate project certification;

Requirements:

  • Degree in quantity surveying or HNC in Building Studies;
  • Demonstration of significant commitment towards personal professional development;
  • A candidate not possessing the qualifications listed above but with a substantial and clearly established track record of success in a relevant field may also be considered;
  • Must have a driving licence and have access to own car.
