About the Role:

The Content Marketing Manager - Consultancy will be pivotal in supporting the rapid growth and global expansion of our Consultancy division. This role requires a strategic thinker and proficient content creator with a deep understanding of marketing Hire Train Deploy, Consultancy Services and Statement of Work (SOW) including Services Procurement.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Consultancy Practice Directors to generate new business and expand existing client relationships, consultancy suppliers and consultants. Will have a strong focus on customer centricity and go to market sales messaging for a range of different buyers, personas and organisations.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Content Creation: Proactively identify relevant topics, insights and trends within the consultancy industry, crafting compelling content for different personas that establish Robert Walters's voice and authority in the market. Use data sources and industry analysts (e.g. Staffing Industry Analysts, Everest, Gartner) to align with market data release to create thought leadership content. Must be able to adapt our USPs to address the different competitors in the space, and have the ability to be creative in the channels and tools to engage audiences e.g. social media platforms, events, campaigns, video, roundtable events and community conversations.
  • Sales Support: Partner with the Consultancy Practice Directors and team to create marketing materials and strategies that drive lead generation and client expansion.
  • Proposal Support. Accurately represent Robert Walters's value proposition, in line with specific client requirements and the competitor landscape, with the ability to communicate innovative solutions and services, devising a compelling narrative and win themes.
  • Visual Content. Develop unique and creative approaches to communicating bid solutions across document formats, working with our in-house design team to new ways to express concepts with excellent graphic representations.
  • Customer Focus: Maintain a laser focus on customer needs and preferences, ensuring all marketing efforts are aligned with client-centric strategies. Maintaining a sound understanding of the operational environment with extensive product knowledge and an understanding of the future needs and evolving market demand.
  • Consultancy Supplier Marketing: Assist with ideas and initiatives to communicate and engage the very best consultancy suppliers to join our preferred supplier list.
  • Consultant Marketing: Develop and execute marketing initiatives to engage and inform our existing consultant community and attract potential candidates to join as Experienced Consultants or through our early-in-career Hire Train Deploy programme. Generating content for monthly / quarterly newsletters.
  • Events: Supporting with the communication and narrative for speaker and roundtable events and content for event promotion.
  • Marketing Strategy Development: In collaboration with the MD and Practice Directors, create and execute a Consultancy marketing plan, aligning with global expansion goals and sales targets.
  • Multi-Channel Campaigns: Design and implement integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social media, events, and other channels to promote Consultancy services and support in winning new business.


Who You Are:

  • Proven experience in marketing Statement of Work / Services Procurement, Hire Train Deploy and consultancy services, with a strong understanding of the industry landscape.
  • Exceptional content writing skills, with the ability to create engaging and informative content that resonates with target audiences.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, target-driven sales environment. Highly organised and ability to work to deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Capability to communicate visually through images and diagrams and the ability to create and edit PowerPoint presentations to support sales proposals.
