Salary: £44,000 - £47,000 per annum DOE

BV Dairy is a food factory and family-run business established 66 years ago in Shaftesbury Dorset. Recently we have joined First Milk group - a British farmer-owned dairy co-operative.

Every day we source 100,000 litres of milk from the local farms. You can find our products in most supermarkets across the whole of the UK.

To strengthen our production management team we are looking for a Continuous Improvement Manager who will support the production management team in delivering the continuous improvement agenda.

The purpose of the role:

• To be the subject matter expert for Continuous Improvement within the Production department
• To identify all key drivers of costs and waste across production and lead various projects to maximise production’s efficiency; support production teams to achieve the highest standards
• To identify, facilitate, and manage any projects and tasks that target improvements in production efficiencies, reduction of waste, improvements to quality, reduction in downtime and optimisation of plant

Your experience so far:

• Proven work experience as a Continuous Improvement Manager or similar role
• Six Sigma Green Belt certification
• Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies
• Good MS Excel skills
• Strong project management skills
• Outstanding analytical and organisational abilities
