Reed Engineering are delighted to have partnered exclusively with a renowned manufacturing business in the Livingston area, well known for producing high-quality bespoke builds which are shipped around the globe. In operation for over 40 years, they are now in the market for a Continuous Improvement Manager who will aid their business in facilitating production, manufacturing and quality improvements.

Mainly, you will be responsible for the planning, organisation and supervision of production processes to meet targets and deadlines. This will be done through production schedule monitoring, accurate resource allocation and close liaison with relevant parties in the business. Your success in this role will be measured against five key metrics:

  • Leadership
  • Quality Assurance
  • Process Improvement
  • Inventory & Materials Management
  • Safety & Compliance

Ultimately, we are seeking strong production and manufacturing management professionals with a proven track record in the above metrics. However, those with exposure to any the following will be at a distinct advantage:

  • Manufacturing operations through the use of the following types of machinery / processes: sheet metal fabrication, welding, precision engineering, waterjet cutting and polishing, powder coating, spray painting
  • Manufacturing of components related to bespoke builds
  • Assembly of bespoke builds
  • Implementation (and following through, with results to show) of process and quality improvements
