Job Description
Spectrum IT are recruiting for a highly motivated and experienced Contract Software Developer to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of VB.NET development practices. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team to work confidently on the clients legacy platforms.
Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain software applications using VB.NET
Debug and fix software defects
Assist with integration tests
Work with product managers and other stakeholders to gather and implement requirements
Deploy and maintain software applications to production environments
Follow Agile development practices

Required skills

Experience in recent software development using legacy VB.NET
SQL Server knowledge
Javascript, HTML, CSS
Strong understanding of Agile development practices
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
