Job Description
Spectrum IT are recruiting for a highly motivated and experienced Contract Software Developer to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of VB.NET development practices. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team to work confidently on the clients legacy platforms.
Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain software applications using VB.NET
  • Debug and fix software defects
  • Assist with integration tests
  • Work with product managers and other stakeholders to gather and implement requirements
  • Deploy and maintain software applications to production environments
  • Follow Agile development practices


Required skills

  • Experience in recent software development using legacy VB.NET
  • SQL Server knowledge
  • Javascript, HTML, CSS
  • Strong understanding of Agile development practices
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
