Contracts Manager
Our client is looking for a Contracts Manager to join their friendly team. As the Contracts Manager you will be responsible for ensuring the firm's legal and business interests are safeguarded. The Contracts Manager will need to ensure that al in house contractual arrangements are sound, enforceable and advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:
- Creating legally binding agreements that outline the terms and conditions of business transactions. These may include service agreements, supply contracts, and more.
- Examining existing contracts to ensure they comply with current laws and regulations, and to identify and address any potential risks or unfavourable terms.
- Representing the business in negotiations with other parties to achieve favourable terms and mitigate risks. This will include making amendments to proposed contracts to better suit their interests.
- Offering guidance on the legal implications of contract terms and help staff internally understand their rights and obligations under various agreements.
- Identifying any potential legal risks in contracts and advise on strategies to minimise these risks, thereby protecting the firm's interests.
- Ensuring that all contracts comply with relevant laws and regulations, including industry-specific standards and international trade laws where applicable.
- Assisting in resolving any disputes that arise from contractual agreements, either through negotiation, mediation, arbitration, or litigation.
- Educate on contract management best practices and relevant legal developments to improve internal processes and compliance.
- Keeping detailed records of all contracts and related documents for reference and compliance purposes.
Experience and Skills Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years' contracts experience.
- Diligence and attention to detail.
- Creative problem-solving ability.
- Robust project management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and client-facing skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Good negotiating skills.
