Pay Rate: £15.47

Hours per week: Monday to Friday on a variable shift rota - 45 hours per week

Job Overview

We are currently recruiting forA Control Room Assistant to join our passionate and driven team based at our client’s site in the North Acton Area.

You will undertake duties including but not limited to working alongside the client to implement the new visitor access process / system, Monitoring the visitor access process across project and providing assistance on security control room administration

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring the visitor access process across project.
  • Working alongside the client to implement the new visitor access process / system.
  • Respond to failures and arrange engineer call out.
  • Provide assistance on security control room administration.
  • Monitoring all site CCTV system cameras and alarms and responding as required in line with procedures.
  • Identify any potential security vulnerabilities and escalate accordingly. Ensure that all sites are always secure.
  • Understand the escalation procedures relating to issues or incidents and know when to escalate or deal locally.
  • Report to the Control Room Supervisor any incident outside of your experience or control and follow all actions and issues as required.
  • Demonstrate an excellent understanding of all systems in use in the Control Room
  • Carry out daily equipment checks to ensure system serviceability and escalate any faults identified to the appropriate service partner.
  • Receive out-of-hours calls from the client Helpdesk and escalate as required in line with procedures.
  • Support security gate operatives by dealing quickly and effectively with all Access Control issues raised and troubleshooting access issues.
  • Compile daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required.
  • Produce high-quality Reports relating to all Incidents in a timely manner.

About You:

  • SIA License
  • GCSE’s – One of which is to be IT
  • Previous experience within a admin assistant role
  • Driving license
  • Computer literate with a variety of software, including Microsoft Office and bespoke software packages.
  • Solid organisational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple priorities and achieve tight deadlines.
  • Ability to accurately follow detailed processes.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with a strong teamwork ethic.
  • A positive attitude and ability to deal with pressure professionally.
  • A highly motivated individual
  • Training will be provided prior to starting.
