We have a Control Room Operative role available within Aggregate Industries Cauldon site. This role is ideal for someone with good maths and science skills and is IT Literate, reliable and a good communicator. Full training will be provided. The sucessful applicant will be responsible for the collection and testing of production samples.

Role: Control Room Operative

Location: Aggregate Industries, Cauldon Cement plant, Yelsway Ln, Cauldon, Stoke-on-Trent ST10 3EQ

Rate: £12ph

Contract length: 9 months

Shift Patterns: Mon-Fri rotation of shifts: 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00

Responsibilities:

  • Collecting and analysing production samples
  • Reporting results of production samples to the Control Room Operatives
  • Supporting the department with other requested duties as required

Essential requirements:

  • Driving licence and use of a car
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Good IT literacy skills
  • Sound maths and science knowledge
