Controls Engineer (Programming / Commissioning)
£50,000 - £60,000 + Benefits + Hybrid
Kidderminster
Monday to Friday (40 hour week)

Are you a PLC Controls Engineer with experience in writing and commissioning software, who is looking for a position within a market leading and innovative company at the forefront of technologies, whilst working on a variety of bespoke projects?

In this role you will work closely alongside mechanical design teams, looking at the concept stages of all bespoke projects and writing appropriate software for the PLCs. You will also commission the software for these, with occasional travel around the UK required.

The company is a market leader in the design and manufacture of bespoke special purpose machinery and robotics, with their innovative systems at the forefront of technologies. Supplying into a variety of industries, including automotive, medical, food, renewables, construction and aerospace.

The Role:

  • Work closely with mechanical design, concept stages of projects, writing and commissioning software for roll out
  • Mostly working on Siemens PLCs (some Sneider, Rockwell and Mitsubishi)
  • Training on robotic programming available, training courses provided
  • Split role of on site, hybrid and national travel (occasionally)
  • Monday to Friday, 40 hour week (early finish on Friday)

  • Experience in writing software and commissioning the software
