Location: Ilford

Hours: 9.00 – 17.00 Monday – Friday

Salary: £25,000 - £28,000

An exciting opportunity for Conveyancing Secretaries has just come onto the market! A local, well-established firm seeks an experienced individual to join their modern office in Ilford.

Responsibilities…

  • Assist Conveyancers (Property Solicitors/Fee Earners) with legal aspects of property purchases.
  • Support the Conveyancing department with a variety of cases including new build properties; shared ownership and transfer of equity.
  • Compile, check, and summarize information related to contracts, mortgage offers, settlement statements, and other legal documents.
  • Liaise with clients, estate agents, solicitors, and local government bodies to manage expectations and ensure smooth communication.
  • Handle administrative tasks, including filing, appointment scheduling, and maintaining client files.
  • Respond to queries regarding files telephonically or in person.

Requirements…

  • Minimum of 4 years experience as a Conveyancing Secretary.
  • Proficiency in using online portals, Leap, InfoTrack and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and client management abilities.
