Role: Conveyancing Secretary / Paralegal

Salary: £23,000 - £26,000

Location: Harlow

Hours: Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm

Reed Legal are recruiting on the behalf of a local practice in Harlow that is seeking a Conveyancing Secretary / Paralegal to join their Residential department.

Description

  • Preparing and managing legal documents related to property transactions.
  • Liaising with clients, solicitors, and other parties involved in the conveyancing process.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and files.
  • Scheduling appointments and managing calendars for conveyancing solicitors.
  • Assisting with the preparation of contracts, transfer deeds, and other legal documents.
  • Handling telephone and email inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Providing general administrative support to the conveyancing team.
  • Conducting legal research and due diligence on property matters.

The Person

  • Previous experience as a paralegal or legal secretary in conveyancing.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A proactive and positive attitude.
