Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, a Public Sector organisation, who are looking to recruit an experienced Conveyancing Manager to join their team.

JOB ROLE

To oversee the conveyancing process for the purchase and sale of land and other property assets, make sure that these assets are transferred legally, and manage a group of remote Conveyancing Coordinators.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:
  • As the team leader and the main point of contact for outside solicitors handling conveyancing transactions to purchase, lease or sell Group-owned real estate, you will oversee the team.
  • Recognise the components of title documentation, conduct legal research, write it critically, and approve it for use in a range of real estate and land transactions.
  • Collaborate with the Strategic Asset Appraisals Team to make sure that the workstreams for land enhancement, options appraisal, void disposal, and the acquisition and disposal of land and property effectively meet the expanding targets and objectives of Strategic Asset Management.
  • Help and support the directorate with a variety of property-related legal challenges, such as planning, conveyancing, title investigation, landlord/tenant disputes, and litigation. Coordinate with group colleagues and outside experts.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:
  • Firmly managing a distant team to complete conveyancing transactions for the purchase, lease, or disposal of real estate.
  • Requires a law degree, CILEX Level 6, or proof of experience in property, asset management, or social housing conveyancing.
  • The operating region will be home to the ideal candidate. The position, which includes Hampshire, Wiltshire, Somerset, Dorset, Devon, Cornwall, and London, will involve travel. along with the surrounding counties.
