Hours: Monday – Friday 9.30am – 5.30pm

Location: Romford

Salary: £23,000 - £25,000

Duties…

  • Preparing initial quotes, liaising with potential clients and assisting with queries, through to successful instruction.
  • Dealing with the Land Registry, Mortgage Lenders and other relevant parties including, but not limited to, Requisitions.
  • Prepare and review legal documents, including contracts, leases, and transfer deeds.
  • Conduct property searches and compile relevant documentation.
  • Collating and review information and documents received from clients and others, appropriate to each transaction.
  • Assisting with the review of files, updating information the return of original documents to client and dealing with file closure and archiving.

Experience required…

  • Minimum of 2 years experience within Conveyancing ideally within a Law Firm but will also consider those working in the Legal Department of a Property Management company or Housing Association
  • Law Degree or studying Cilex or SQE ideal but not essential
  • Ability to handle a high caseload and fast-paced environment
