Role: Conveyancing Solicitor

Location: Southend

Salary: £40,000 - £55,000

Hours: Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm

Reed Legal are excited to be recruiting on the behalf of a successful, well-established Law Firm based in Essex that is seeking a hard-working Conveyancer to join their growing business.

Role

  • Advise clients on all aspects of the buying or selling process, including legal issues, finances, and contracts.
  • Investigate property details, such as ownership and any legal restrictions.
  • Draft and review contracts, leases, transfer documents, and mortgage deeds.
  • Conduct checks to identify any structural issues or legal concerns with the property.
  • Liaise with estate agents, solicitors, lenders, and local authorities to gather necessary information and ensure timely transactions.
  • Maintain accurate records of payments, contracts, and other relevant documents.
  • Ensure all transactions comply with current property laws and regulations.

Experience

  • Must be a Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, Conveyancing Technician or Chartered Legal Executive
  • Minimum of 3 years Residential Conveyancing experience
  • Can-do attitude & eager to grow with a successful business
