About Fuuse
Fuuse has quickly established itself as one of the market leaders in the EV charging software industry. Powering electric vehicle charge points, Fuuse is at the heart of one of the world’s biggest emerging industries, powering the electrification journey with all the environmental and societal benefits that brings. Working with a diverse mix of over 300 end clients, Fuuse is enables their monitoring, maintenance, payments, energy optimisation, and controls access to their charging infrastructure, which in turn powers over 100,000 vehicles who interact with our platform every month.

Beginning as a team of four working on an Innovate UK grant during Covid, we are now 65 highly-motivated and expert staff based across the UK and Ireland. In 2023 we grew by over 300% and aim to do the same again for the next few years. This hyper-growth has attracted significant investor interest, a recent Series A funding raised £8.7 million from YFM Equity Partners and our long-term backers Par Equity.

The Role
As COO you will take responsibility for delivering on our core objectives, making strategy a reality, and successfully managing rapid growth with all the challenges it presents. You will be a key leader in driving operational excellence, delivery on strategic initiatives and business performance across the company, as well as overseeing day-to-day operations and driving initiatives to support business growth and expansion. To achieve this, you’ll be a trusted partner working with the CEO, board and executive team to shape the long-term strategic goals and subsequently lead, manage and implement projects to achieve these goals.

• Execution and delivery of the company’s strategy, putting in place the systems and processes that will support the delivery of its core revenue objectives.
• Operational systems and processes, including implementation of new processes and systems that enable the company to scale.
• Project management. Leading projects with strong overview of problem, solution, key benefits, accountability and success criteria that deliver on our strategic plans.
• Senior leadership accountability. Ensuring our SLT are aligned and delivering on our objectives and agreed goals and KPIs.
• Drive improved reporting and analysis of internal KPIs, so the company has strong visibility of performance and can use this to accelerate new targets and objectives.
• Overseeing revenue operations and operational delivery of new products, propositions and services.
• Our people. Recruiting and shaping great teams, including overseeing employee productivity, building a positive, inclusive culture ensuring team members thrive.
• Compliance. Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.
• Risk. Identifying and mitigating operational risks.
• Legals. Overseeing our legal team and the improvement of contract processes.
• Workplace. Ensuring where we work be that in Lancaster, London or remotely at home be as productive and effective as possible.

The Person

An executor and finisher who enjoys a fast-paced, high growth environment, you will have:

-Proven experience as COO (or similar role) in executive leadership positions ideally in a scaling SaaS business.
-Significant experience developing scalable, organisational processes.
-Exceptional communication skills
.-A solid grasp of data analysis and performance metrics.
-Excellent mentoring, coaching, leadership and people management skills
