Cook and Mobile Vending Assistant

Role Overview

We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and driven Cook and Mobile Catering Assistant to join our Catering team within our Angel Hill business division. This role will cover 2 of our sites, one based in Luton and the other in Heathrow, topping up vending machines during the week (flexible on times and days) as well as providing a breakfast service to our clients each Sunday and one Saturday per month. The role will come with the use of a company van.

Responsibilities:

• Vending Machine Top-Up (Heathrow): Three days a week, travel to a site in Heathrow to top up vending machines.
• Sunday Breakfast Cooking (Luton): Every Sunday, cook breakfast between 7 am and 12 noon at a site based in Luton.
• Saturday Breakfast Cooking (Luton): One Saturday a month, cook breakfast in Luton (7 am to 12 noon).

Requirements:

• Ability to work every Sunday (7 am to 12 noon) and one Saturday per month (7 am to 12 noon)
• Physically fit as the role requires lifting stock to and from a van.
• Driving License is essential.
• A background in cooking is required but only to a basic level and training will be provided.
• Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
• A driven and enthusiastic employee
• We are looking for an employee that is autonomous in their approach but also happy to work well in a team.
• A background in contract catering would be ideal but not essential.
• Ideally City & Guilds 706/1 and 706/2 or level 2 diploma in Professional Cookery (or equivalent), but we are happy to talk to those also qualifying for their professional qualifications.
