Cook - Market Drayton

Location: Market Drayton
Hourly rate: £12.46 per hour

Hours: 35.5 (minus breaks) happy to take two part time candidates to split hours

Shifts:
Monday & Tuesday: 16:00-midnight (30 minute break)
Wednesday: 14:00 - midnight (30 minute break)
Saturday and Sunday: 7am-1230

This role is a temporary to permanent position, starting off working through Blue Arrow for 12 weeks. Upon successful probationary period, you will then move over to the client after 12 weeks on a permanent basis.

• Ability to produce good quality basic food and good knife skills
• Understanding of health and safety
• Understanding of basic food hygiene practices

• Good multi-tasking skills and an understanding of prioritising tasks and personal time management
• Good level of numeracy and the ability to multiply and carefully follow recipes

Main Duties/Responsibilities

• Open up and lock up till, working with cash on occasion
• Help cooking dinner, serving on counter and washing up
• Making sure paperwork is filled in and all labelling is done daily
• Prep any food for the next day
• The Wednesday early starts will include supporting chef with stock counting
• Help with deliveries and restocking
• Contribute to maintaining kitchen and food safety standards
• Cleaning stations, kitchen equipment and front of house areas throughout the day and at the end of service
