Working as part of a small team, you will be responsible for producing a varied menu catering for up to 240 meals a day.
Producing a varied menu, changing daily, using fresh local produce, will help you to ensure a balanced diet for students and staff. You will have experience working in an educational environment, and have a good understanding of allergens and catering for varied diets.
Due to the nature of the role an ENHANCED DBS is required.
The successful applicant will get the opportunity to work across all sections in the kitchen gaining a varied and broad experience in all areas, covering breakfast & lunch and managing junior staff on site. The role has the advantage of operating a term time only contract working Monday to Friday 8am-2pm.
