Are you based in Bicester looking for a new Permanent position as a Cook/ Chef?

Role: Cook/ Chef

Location: OX25 1P

Rate of Pay: £14.25 per hour

Shift: 4 days on, 4 days off - 11 hour day shifts

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a team of chefs to create quality meals from a pre-ordered menu.
  • Preparation of breakfast, lunch, and evening meals.
  • Supervise and support prisoner workforce in food production.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years cooking experience required.
  • Must be 18 or over.
  • Security clearance is required, including a 5-year UK address history
  • Positive, proactive, and detail-oriented approach.
  • Knowledge of health and food safety legislation, conflict resolution skills.
  • Equivalent of NVQ Level 2 qualification.
  • Hold a Level 2 Food Safety Certificate or Equivalent.
