Eventus Recruitment Group are seeking a Corporate Commercial Solicitor to join this modern top 200 law firm known for their commitment to growth. With multiple offices this role will be based in their main Surrey office and is easily commutable from Farnborough, Redhill and Oxted. This a permanent job role and is office-based with super flexible hybrid working on offer. Role Responsibilities

As the new Corporate and Commercial Solicitor you will be focusing on M&A and general corporate advisory work. The team has a broad area of corporate expertise, supporting businesses across a variety of sectors including, healthcare, dental, travel, media, technology, recruitment, and financial services.

Examples of recent cases completed by this 8 strong team are:

  • the c.£20M sale of a provider of medical certification services to global pharma businesses.
  • the c.£14M sale of a healthcare practice management software business to a market leading acquiror.
  • the sale and acquisition of multiple dental practices with values of up to £10M.
  • the c.£12M sale of a private school to a PE group.
  • the £multi-million sale of an international drama school to a UK university.
  • acting for a multinational business acquiring a specialist supplier of marine navigation and communications technology.

Person Specification

To be successful in your application for this Corporate Commercial Solicitor you will have worked for 6 years as a minimum within a leading corporate commercial team. You should also be a self-motivated, strong team player and have good inter-personal skills. Due to the nature of the work and the structure of the team, my client is ideally looking for a Senior Associate, although consideration will be given for an Associate looking for their next move to Senior Associate.

Also, you will have the following skills and attributes:

  • Strong communication and leadership skills, capable of influencing and building relationships across all levels.
  • A pedigree in being involved in and influencing strategy.
  • Ability to work with Partners and Management Committee to resolve client conflicts effectively.
  • Commitment to maintaining the highest professional standards to minimise risk.
  • Proficiency in IT, organisation, and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Skilled in balancing commercial interests with compliance requirements.
  • Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion and tact.
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
