A prestigious Legal 500 firm with an award-winning Corporate/Commercial team is seeking a Senior Corporate/Commercial Solicitor or Partner to join them in their busy Eastbourne office. This role involves mentoring and leadership responsibilities within a well-established team supported by junior lawyers and administrative staff.

The successful Corporate/Commercial Solicitor will be responsible for a varied case load to include:

Key Responsibilities:

• • Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)
  • Management buy-outs and buy-ins
  • Private equity investments
  • Corporate governance
  • Administration sales/purchases
  • Corporate restructuring
  • Shareholders’ agreements
  • Joint ventures
  • IT licensing, support, and maintenance agreements
  • Terms and conditions of business
  • Agency and distribution agreements
  • Bespoke commercial contracts
  • Intellectual Property agreements/contracts/licenses (excluding trademarks or patent applications)

The successful Corporate/Commercial Solicitor will offer the following skillset/background:

Required Qualifications/Skills:

• Experience: 4+ years PQE in corporate and/or commercial law from a quality law firm
• Skills: Strong technical skills in line with experience, commercial awareness, excellent communication, and ideally some leadership or mentoring experience
