Role: Corporate Communications Executive

Contract:  Permanent, Full Time

Salary; from £29,870 DOE

Location: Bedford

A college in Bedford are looking for a full time, permanent Corporate Communications Executive to join their Communications team. Your main duties within this role will include;

-       Deliver high-quality communication campaigns and content for various channels including online, social media, and for the media. These campaigns will aim to raise awareness, build the college profile, and connect with stakeholders both internally and externally.

-       Work with the PR agency to promote opportunities for positive publicity

-       Lead on the delivery of the social media engagement strategy, working with other teams to ensure all activities and communications improve the reputation with local, regional and national audience

-       Help to plan and deliver high-quality corporate internal and external stakeholder communications and engagement activities. These events will showcase the colleges work with its communities, celebrate staff achievements, and encourage collaboration with local and national organisations.

-       Undertake any other duties as appropriate assigned by the Head of Communications and PR.   

Requirements;

-       Degree in a related subject such as Business, Marketing and Public Relations, or equivalent level

-       At least two years’ experience within a PR or Communications role

-       Experience of working in the education sector is desirable

-       Experience of using a social media management platform

-       Flexibility to work outside normal working hours

-       Full clean UK driving licence to travel independently to different campuses, exhibitions and events
