CORPORATE EVENTS MANAGER | Circa £46,500 per annum + 12% Bonus

Reporting to the Food and Beverage Manager, you will be responsible for managing the coordination and delivery of all corporate events. You will work with internal and external stakeholders to provide the highest levels of guest satisfaction, whilst achieving financial, people and service KPIs.

The day-to-day shall include; management of budget / payroll costs, supporting the outbound sales team with onsite visits, managing client expectations and requests, general welfare, motivation and development of events staff, analysis of data and compilation of statistics / reports and any other duties that may be required.

HOURS OF WORK

You will be contracted to work 160 hours per 4-week period on a flexible basis (40 hours per week). This means that your days and hours of work could vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period.

As our village is open 365 days of the year, your working hours will include weekends, public / bank holidays and during Christmas and / or New Year on a rota basis.

ABOUT YOU

Essential requirements:

  • Experience managing the sales and operational function within a busy corporate event venue
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently with an organised and methodical approach
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience of using a booking management system
  • Financially astute
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Have a motivational approach towards colleagues and work

Desirable requirements:

  • Event Management / Hospitality Qualification BTECH / Diploma / Degree
  • Food Hygiene Qualifications
  • Menu / Wine working knowledge
