A leading barrister’s chambers, with offices in London, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur, who specialise in Commercial, Planning, Environment and Property, Public Law and Civil Liability Law throughout the UK and internationally, require a Corporate Events & Marketing Executive to join their friendly and supportive team.

Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing and working with a strong Chambers team with good relationships and high levels of communication, the role holder will enjoy a critical role within the marketing team, responsible for delivering and managing a large portfolio of in-house, external and virtual corporate events in the UK and internationally. This is an excellent opportunity for someone already managing events who is keen to progress within their role, take on more responsibility and learn about the wider marketing function. Working in a fast-paced environment, well supported and alongside a great team, you will have direct access to the CEO and be provided with training and development opportunities. Each day will be different, but always busy, challenging and interesting. With responsibility for event budgets and reporting on metrics and ROI, you will manage all event related digital content and event administration, including merchandise, stakeholder calendars, events mailbox and database. The Corporate Events & Marketing Executive will arrange venues, catering, AV and people resource, including liaising with suppliers, be hands-on with setting up venues and meeting and greeting guests, as well as the general running and closing of events. You will also deliver activities related to the production of events including drafting invitations and follow-up mailers and generating and distributing attendee reports. In addition, the successful applicant will assist the team with the management of digital content including the website, social media posts, digital marketing campaigns and webinars and assist in the smooth operation of Chambers, undertaking ad hoc administrative tasks as required.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience within an events function, delivering events of different sizes and formats, to include past success in managing and reporting on costs and budgets. feedback analysis and ROI. With excellent verbal and written communication abilities to confidently work with all levels, including senior management, barristers, junior staff and peers, the Corporate Events & Marketing Executive will possess outstanding organisational and project management skills and high attention to detail and will enjoy multitasking whilst working under pressure and rolling up their sleeves to make things happen.
