Atomic is delighted to be partnering with an ambitious Top 50 firm with offices across the UK, looking to recruit a Corporate Tax Manager to join their growing Cambridge office. The firm handles the accountancy, tax planning, and business advisory needs of individual clients and businesses both within the UK and internationally.

Responsibilities:

  • Work collectively with their existing team to manage a portfolio of corporate tax cases with a focus on advisory work
  • Advisory work will involve M&A transactions, tax due diligence, share option schemes, restructures and reorganisations, succession and exit planning including but not limited to company buybacks, capital reductions & MBO's.
  • Responsible for undertaking technical compliance reviews of corporation tax computations prepared by the team
  • Responsibility for managing the projects undertaken, maximising fee income and identifying business opportunities, controlling work in progress and billing for services provided.

Requirements:

  • Holds a relevant professional qualification such as ATT or CTA (or equivalent).
  • Demonstrates broad and strong technical tax knowledge and experience.
  • Good client handling technique including excellent written and presentation skills
  • Able to build good relationships with clients and members of the internal team.
  • Ability to take ownership of projects.
  • Be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Self-motivated and disciplined.
  • Organised and methodical with strong numerical abilities.
