Cost Accountant

Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be recruiting for a well established and successful Manufacturing business in Sheffield as they look to bring in a new Cost Accountant into the finance team.

The role will support the Head of Finance and Financial Controller in managing the costs of the manufacturing facility and help in the monthly consolidation of the group management accounting pack. The role will be varied with duties to include: -

• Daily Maintenance of Finance Models
• Monthly Reconciliations of Finance Models
• Point of Contact for queries on Finance Facilities
• Customer Profitability Analysis
• Departmental Cost Analysis
• Maintain BOM’s for resale products (Need Model building)
• Continuous improvement of costing model / KPI metrics
• Provide insightful financial analysis to CFO + Owner
• Challenge status quo and drive business performance
• Competitor analysis & benchmarking
• Daily costing calculations
• Support office in trade counter purchases
• Support with Annual R&D Tax Calculation
• Business Partner Operational teams to understand commercials & drive informed decision making
• Support Annual External Audit
• Maintain Sales/Terrorties + Products sales Data base

To be considered, they are ideally looking for the following skills and experiences: -

• CIMA/ ACCA Qualified (QBE will also be considered)
• Previous manufacturing experience
• Advanced Excel Skills
• Good analytical and reporting skills
• Adaptable & Robust

Salary on this one is up to £55,000 (Dependent on experience) and they offer a selection of excellent benefits.
