Are you from a Mechanical Engineering background looking for a varied position offering a clear 3 year training plan and progression into a senior mentoring role?
This position is for a large global manufacturer offering excellent benefits and flexible start and end times.
The role includes cost estimation for new products, creating CAD 2D drawings and maintaining, inputting and modifying the manufacturing database (a bespoke system similar to SAP).
The role would suit a meticulous and detail orientated mechanical engineer who enjoys working in a small team .
The Role
- Full time, permanent Mon-Fri role for a global manufacturing company.
- Preparing cost estimates for new products by understanding the manufacturing processes, obtaining quotes and utilising the ERP system.
- Control and create CAD 2D drawings for tooling and gauging
The Person
- Academic/working background in manufacturing and mechanical engineering
- Experience of using SAP or similar system
- Experience of using CAD draughting packages
