Berry Recruitment are looking for a Courier Driver to work for a local authority based in Southampton city centre.

This is a contract role to start asap until end of September 2024 with a possible extension.

Working hours Mon-Thu 07.30-16.00 / Fri 07.30-15.30 with hourly pay rate of £12.59.

You MUST hold a full current driving license as you will be driving a transit van.

Main Duties:

  • In a team of two, to assist in the efficient collection of on and off street parking, Itchen Bridge and other miscellaneous Cash collections throughout the City and to deliver it to the Bulk Cash Processing office. This role will be the main driver for the collections.
  • Deliver change and other ad hoc items to various locations within the City as required.
  • Ensure scheduled daily collections are promptly and fully completed.
  • Ensure the safe and secure loading/unloading and transport of collections to the Bulk cash office.
  • Provide a high quality customer service by assisting the general public in queries or problems relating to the parking charges and machines.
