Fully qualified Welsh teacher required to support a secondary school in Newport on a supply basis for the whole academic year, starting September 2024.

You will be required to teach classes in key stage 3 & 4 of varying academic abilities. The school have requested someone who has specific experience working in a UK secondary school teaching Welsh and who can manage behaviour effectively.

CONTRACT DETAILS
* Secondary School - Newport
* Welsh Teacher KS3/KS4 Classes
* Full time
* KS3/4
* September 2024 - academic year
* 8:20 am - 15:10pm Monday to Friday

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Fully qualified teacher with QTS
  • Welsh language specialist capable of all teaching KS3 and KS4
  • Innovative and creative teaching strategies and lessons
  • Aim to strive towards good and outstanding standards
  • ICT capable with interactive whiteboards etc.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
* Hold Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
* Provide two professional references
* Qualifications (QTS)
