Cover Supervisor - Swindon - Immediate Start
Location: Swindon | Start Date: ASAP | Daily Rate: £100-£130

Academics Ltd is currently recruiting proactive and reliable Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across Swindon. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking hands-on classroom experience while supporting students and staff on a flexible basis.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will take charge of classrooms in the absence of the regular teacher, delivering pre-set work and maintaining a focused and respectful learning environment. This position is ideal for those considering a career in teaching or education.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise lessons in the absence of the classroom teacher

  • Manage student behaviour and ensure lesson objectives are met

  • Provide support and guidance to students where needed

  • Work closely with teaching staff to ensure consistency in learning

The Ideal Cover Supervisor Will Have:
  • Previous experience working with young people (education, coaching, youth work etc.)

  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills

  • A flexible and professional approach to work

  • A genuine interest in education and a willingness to learn
