Cover Supervisor

  • Job Title: Cover Supervisor

  • Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent
  • Salary: £125 per day
  • Start Date: September 2024

We are seeking a Cover Supervisor to join our leading school in Plymouth. The award-winning school provides education and support to pupils between the years of 11-19 across a range of subjects, with a focus on creating independent thinkers with high expectations of their own work. The school is also easily accessible by public transport.

The successful candidate will be responsible for general teacher cover during leaves of absence.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience as a Teacher, Cover Supervisor, High level Teaching Assistant or an experienced Teaching Assistant will be considered. (experiences gained in the UK or abroad)
  • A good level of education, with experience with classroom management (transferable skills to the nature of the role) 
  • A passion for teaching and learning
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to motivate and engage students
