About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cover Supervisor to join our team, providing day-to-day classroom management and support in secondary schools across Burton and Swadlincote. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the continuity of education for Key Stage 3 and 4 students in the absence of their regular teachers.
Key Responsibilities:
Leading classrooms, ensuring a safe and productive learning environment for Key Stage 3 and 4 students.
Delivering pre-set lesson plans and ensuring students stay on task with their learning activities.
Managing classroom behavior in accordance with school policies.
Supporting students in their learning and responding to their individual needs.
Collaborating with school staff to ensure effective communication and smooth operation of daily activities.
Requirements:
Proven experience in leading a classroom with Key Stage 3 and 4 students.
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students effectively.
Flexibility and adaptability to work in different school settings on a day-to-day basis.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to drive and access to a reliable vehicle (essential).
