We are a reputable secondary school in Eastbourne, renowned for our commitment to academic excellence and holistic student development. We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our dynamic team. This role is in partnership with Zen Educate, an innovative education staffing agency dedicated to improving the quality of supply teaching.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teachers.
  • Ensure a constructive and positive learning environment.
  • Deliver pre-set work and ensure students stay on task.
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
  • Provide support and guidance to students as needed.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with secondary school students is desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively.
  • A genuine passion for education and helping students achieve their potential.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in various subjects and classroom settings.
