Academics are working with a wide variety of Secondary schools across Essex who are seeking new Cover Supervisors to start this September. We are looking for proactive and enthusiastic people to cover lessons and support students in the Teachers absence.

As a Cover Supervisor you will manage learners behaviour and create a constructive learning environment. You will supervise the work set by the teacher, displaying and promoting high expectations from all students.

** Long Term Contract till July 2025

** £100 - £140 per day

** Secondary School

** Potential to go Permanent

** Teacher Training available

A Cover Supervisor provides a great opportunity to teach in different schools, experiencing different educational environments and putting your skills to the test. If you are a TA looking to progress or a recent graduate who wants classroom experience before starting their journey to achieve their QTS, this is a great next step!

The ideal candidate should:

** Be confident in front of a class, managing behaviour and keeping learners on task

** Able to provide support to learners

** Possess excellent organisational and communication skills

** Honors Degree

** Previous experience in a school setting

** Ability to manage challenging behaviour

** Be eligible to work
