We are seeking an experience Cover Supervisor to join a large team within a secondary school based in the London Borough of Southwark. The main purpose of the role is to arrange and cover lessons in the absence of the class teacher. You will be expected to actively engage in the teaching and learning of students across Key Stage 3 and 4 whilst using lesson plans to deliver lessons.

The role and responsibilities of a Cover Supervisor:
  • To provide students with the work that has been planned and set by the classroom teacher.
  • To manage student behaviour to contribute to a positive working and learning environment.
  • Support any department within the school as required.
  • Complete the cover lesson feedback form and return to the appropriate teacher.
