A Cover Supervisor is needed in an All Boys Secondary School in South East London.

This Cover Supervisor post will be full time and permanent. Working hours and days are 8am to 3pm, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities for this Cover Supervisor role will include but not be limited to:

• Arranging cover for lessons
• Using SIMS to record absences
• Working with the team to organise cover assignments
• Covering lessons by helping pupils work through topics set by the class teacher
• Answering pupils' questions and passing on information to the rest of the team
• Maintaining discipline in lessons in line with the school's behaviour policy

The salary for this Cover Supervisor role will be between £22244 to £23286, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.

Pupil intake is for 11 to 16 year olds, with just over 1000 pupils on its enrolment.

Requirements

You will be considered if you are a Graduate or experienced Cover Supervisor.

Applications are also welcome if you are a British trained Cover Supervisor or overseas trained Cover Supervisor.

All applicants must have the following in order to be considered for this position as a Cover Supervisor:

• Right to work in the UK
• Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
• UK Degree or an overseas equivalent
• Experience of working as a Cover Supervisor in UK schools
