The Education Network is looking for Cover Supervisors of all levels of experience to work in Secondary Schools across Kirklees. Our clients near you need your help to mitigate the effects of teacher sickness and absence on children's education. We therefore require professional, flexible behaviour managers with a passion to work with children to provide them with long-term and short-term classroom cover.
Local work, Guaranteed Pay Scheme (earn up to £325 per week)
The demand is greater than ever due to ever decreasing school budgets and ever-increasing absence. This means there’s a great chance we can keep your work local to you whilst being flexible around your availability. As long as you have a minimum of 2 days availability, we would consider you for one of our Guaranteed Pay Schemes subject to satisfactory experience, references & flexibility.
We currently have schemes of 2-5 days in every Local Authority. This will guarantee you a weekly gross pay of between £130-£325 per week.
Role overview:
You wouldn't be expected to plan, prepare, or teach anything, you would be expected to cover lessons in the absence of a teacher and ensure the class are staying on task with their work, managing the classroom and helping the students with their work as and when you can.
All we ask is that you:
- Have experience of working with children/young people within the past 2 years
- Have a valid DBS certificate or willingness to apply for one
- Have at least two referees (including at least one child-based reference)
- Are passionate about education and are passionate about helping our children of Leeds to reach their full potential!
