Are you passionate about supporting the next generation's education? Or are you thinking about a career in teaching and would like to gain some hands on experience?

Academics are currently recruiting a dedicated cover supervisor to work on a daily supply basis in secondary schools across Warrington.

As a cover supervisor you will be a crucial part of maintaining a positive learning environment in the absence of the regular teacher.

Main Cover Supervisor responsibilities:

  • Supervise the classroom in the absence of the usual class teacher
  • Deliver pre-planned lessons and ensure students engage in meaningful activities
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively, promoting a positive and respectful atmosphere
  • Follow school policies and procedures to maintain a safe learning environment
  • Manage the class behaviour following the schools policies and procedures

What you will need to work as a Cover Supervisor with Academics:

  • Previous experience supporting children and/or young adults is desirable
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage the classroom effectively and adapt to different school environments
  • Flexible and reliable, with a positive attitude towards education
  • Enhanced DBS certificate registered to the update service, or be willing to get one (Cost applied)
