Cover Supervisor/Cover Teacher - Croydon

Empowering Learning are working with a school in Croydon to recruit a full-time cover supervisors or qualified daily cover teachers that can join the team in its commitment to improving the attainment of all pupils. This is a great opportunity to join a close-knit team and make a real difference to the lives of your pupils.

About the role

You will be leading lessons and covering in the absence of class teachers for varying subjects at a school based in Croydon with an immediate start.

About you

  • Experience working with students aged 11-16
  • Flexibility to work in different subjects
  • Confident managing behaviour
  • An ability to build rapport with students
  • Good classroom presence
  • have a understanding of how to engage with students
  • QTS or Equivalent (Desired)
  • Experience as a cover supervisor (Desired)

We welcome applications from candidates with any level of experience, although previous experience of working with students with challenging behaviour will be an advantage.
