Job Advertisement: Band 6 Community Mental Health Nurse

Position: Band 6 Community Mental Health Nurse
Location: West Birmingham
Contract Type: Full Time, 3-Month Placement
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 17:00
Start Date: As soon as possible

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse caseload of adult patients within the community
  • Administer intramuscular (IM) medication as required
  • Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and implement treatment strategies
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Provide support and education to patients and their families
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care

Requirements:

  • Experience working within Adult Community Health Services
  • Proven ability to manage a caseload independently
  • Competence in administering IM medication
  • Valid driving licence
  • Availability to start as soon as possible
