Crane Supervisor

Crane supervisor required. My client is a leading provider of crane hire based in the North West and they are currently looking for an experienced crane supervisor to cover the North West of England and occasionally go further afield. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years' experience in a similar role and the relevant qualifications. The candidate must be within a commutable distance of Widnes.

This role requires a manual driving licence

• Supervise safe and efficient lifting operations
• Implement lifting plans and method statements
• Oversee the setup and dismantling of the crane
• Travel to and from site around the North West of England and the occasional need to stay away
• Perform risk assessments
• Work alongside management, appointed person and other personal
• Conduct safety briefings

• 3 years' experience in a similar role
• Valid blue CPCS Crane Supervisor card
• Ability to lead and manage personal effectively
• Within a commutable distance of the North West of England
• Competent in producing CAD drawings
• Computer literate
• Rigging experience essiential
• Flexibility to stay away occasionally

• £16-£18 an hour dependant on experience
• 10-hour day basic pay (overtime time and a half on top of that)
• 28 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays
• Company vehicle provided
• Overtime available
• Pension
